Pace and joy in our Lord, Jesus Christ, and a blessed Lenten season to all of you! I hope and pray that all of you are doing well. I am doing well and am happy starting my seminary formation with already six months in. Praise God! These past few months have been filled with great blessings and many opportunities for growth. Seminary life has been wonderful! Encountering Christ in a much deeper and intimate relationship has helped me realize that He is much more closer to us than we think. From this, I have experienced so much joy knowing that I continue to walk with Him and our Blessed Mother. I have discovered and learned so much already! About myself, about the Church and her mission, guided by the Holy Spirit, and the mystery and action of the Lord in my life and vocational discernment. In addition, I have become very close to our Holy Mother, Mary, and am grateful for her maternal love and care, especially during difficult times. I hope and pray that as I continue to walk in my formation, I continue to grow in that relationship with Jesus and mother Mary, not only through my studies and life of the seminary, but also with my own everyday life and the life of the Church. Nourishing this great gift of “the call” that Jesus has given me. Know that even though we are far away, we continue to be close in prayer and in the Holy Eucharist. Thank you all for your prayers, love, and support, I am very humbled and grateful to know that my parish family continues to pray for me as I walk in this journey towards the Holy Priesthood. Know that you are all constantly in my prayers as well. I hope that this time of Lent brings you to a closer experience of the mercy and love of Christ. I pray that, through the intercession of our Blessed Mother, your Lenten journey is filled with the guidance and help of the Holy Spirit as we prepare to celebrate the victory of our Savior over death. God Bless!
